I'm the planner so I get to endlessly do research on a place I've never been to while my husband just gives me his list of specifics. Here goes:
Must be ocean front, must be bottom floor, must have a sliding door that leads to the beach so he doesn't have to use the front door (uh huh), must have internet access for his laptop, DVD player, plasma TV's, not crowded but must have activities within walking distance like parasailing, snorkeling, etc., must have a good restaurant on the property or within walking distance, and a town nearby with major stores is a must like drug store, Starbucks (must have), electronic stores (just in case), bookstores, mall, I don't know.
So, champagne taste on a beer budget is what I'm looking for. I don't care if it's a condo or a hotel. I will figure that out later find a place to buy groceries if I need to. Major thing is ground floor on the sand with nearby activities shopping.
My hubby and I are getting ready to go to Hawaii for a week and we have never been there so i am hoping that someone can help us have some fun and tell us what we should do and not miss out on. I also want to go to dinner one night and watch the sunset. If you have any ideas for romantic things to do and places we must see and eat at please tell me. Also just a fyi we are staying in Kapaa Shores. Thank you.
With dorms -.-
I collect HK and im going on vacation to Kauai, does anyone know if there are any cool stores that sell Sanrio stuff?......Japanese Markets? Flea Markets? Ideas?
What are the must-sees on the island? I would love to do Waimea Canyon and was curious to know if there was a horseback tour and how to book it? What else is there to do on the island? What have you experiences been while travelling there?
I tend to avoid beaches (sun and pale skin don't mix!) and am much more adventure oriented. All these ideas are great!
are there any strip clubs there? or bars? or rock and roll clubs? I don't want to live there, I just want to visit there just for one weekend. Thank you
I am looking for recommendations on finding good discounts on vacation packages, hotels, airfare, etc for a vacation on a budget.
West side, south shore, central, east side, or north shore? Thank you!!
