Kauai Faq

k so me and my family are going to kauai for like the fourth time but i have never been quite old enough to do a lot of things. i am 13 but am tall and mature looking so could pass as 14 (probaly not 15 though) and my brothers 15 but he's like 6,3 so he will pass as 16. so i really want to do a zipline adventure thing. we did one last time we came but it was kinda lame i mean i was like this 100 feet zipline, two rope swings , and hiking to get to everything, and we paid $125 for each person (4). k so back to the point i have checked this out: http://www.adventureskauai.com/ i want to do the zip'n'dip one but i guess i would be open to the other ones. all of them are $145, my mom wants to spend around $100 but she says to reaserch this to see if its worth it. i mean it has 9 ziplines, a couple suspension bridges and swimming, i think it is but i want to know from someone else. thanks sooooo much (sorry this was sooooo long) :D

Traveling to Kauai on September 18th, 2010 wondering what the weather prediction is for that time of year?

I was wondering what the most used Aircraft by ALL providers who provided service to *KAUAI*, Hawaii in the 1970's...was it a 747? Thanks

I have been a fan of The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. I have the 5th and 7th edition. The 7th edition is the latest one. The reason why I'm waiting for the 8th edition is because I want to hike new trails. When the hell is it gonna come out‽‽‽

Going to Hawaii for spring break want to know good things to do there. Any suggestions?

We're planning on spending 12-14 days in Hawaii. We'll be out there the last week in September and the first week in October. So is it worth the time, money, and hassle to visit the three islands? Thanks.

I also want to stay at a decent resort that has some activities like surfing lessons.

I can't even breath I'm so excited to go back to the only place I've ever been happy...and where I didnt have to worry about hitchhiking to work and back. haha. god, i love hilo. Anyway, I'm going to kauai for a wedding (live in CA now) and am looking for some awesome places to snorkel, body surf, have a cheap lunch...etc. ( I am on a budget and going with a friend where we can't afford more than 80 bux a night...but he won't stay at a hostel! wtf!) I don't need to do any boat tours, or anything like that...just looking for recommendations as to what your favorite beaches are...and where you can meet some chill people to maybe share a beer with. =)

I'm looking for somewhere that's nice and slow and laid back, and not really too far away from everything.
