Don't let Kauai's apparent remoteness trick you into believing that the island has no nightlife. Actually, Kauai is one very interesting place to be at night. Whatever your preferences in terms of entertainment, Kauai will certainly have a number of venues for you to choose from.
If, for example, you are musically inclined, try the Tahiti Nui at 5134 Kuhio Highway in Hanalei, or a place simply called 'The point' at 2440 Hoonani Road, where they also have regular live bands performances.

Kauai is also home to a number of fine restaurants, offering a wide choice of cuisines to cater for your unique taste. For Japanese Sushi, try the Aupaka Terrace at the Kauai Marriot Resort and Beach Club. If you brought your laptop with you, you can catch up on your emails here too, because the restaurant also has internet hotspot coverage. For authentic Hawaiian fare, try the Duke's at Kalapaki Beach, which also prides itself of Fresh Seafood. If you want something Italian, then you can try the the Cafe Portofino at Kalapaki bay for the best pizza's among other Italian delicacies. Cafe Portofino also has an Internet hotspot for your communication as you dine.
